If you have picked up any of the premiere tabloid magazines (we’re not ashamed to admit we have and do quite frequently), then you are probably familiar with Syfy’s newest personality and breakout reality show lead, Mary Occhino of “Mary Knows Best”.
Recently Sonsi was privileged enough (thanks to our good friend Gwen DeVoe) to go behind the scenes with The Plus Academy and PLUS Model Magazine to style Mary’s youngest and only daughter, Jackie Sullivan.
For those of you who may not be familiar, here is some background on Mary and her family:
Mary Occhino is mother to a Long Island family of three, a successful author, psychic intuitive and radio host of Occhino’s Sirius/XM Satellite Radio show, “Angels on Call”. On her show Mary predicts the future, speaks to the dead and offers daily advice to thousands of listeners each day. Besides providing closure to those who have lost loved ones, Mary conducts seminars nationwide, offering guidance on relationships, health, family issues and career concerns.
Because she communicates with the spirit world, Mary has a 24-hour a day job while also juggling her children, Jackie, Chris and Carl – a group made up of a skeptic, paranormal investigator and a reluctant psychic.
Jacqueline “Jackie” Sullivan is Mary’s youngest child who is currently finishing her bachelors degree in business from BriarCliffe College with a focus on public relations. Though Jackie is reluctant to admit she’s inherited her mother’s psychic abilities, she acknowledges that her natural instincts are indeed intact and they continue to shape her life.
Needless to say, each episode gives a whole new meaning to “mother knows best” providing entertainment and an uninhibited dose of reality.
Since we don’t want to divulge too much, you will have to watch this week’s episode to get the full scoop… but we can tell you that Jackie is a talented singer who dreams of becoming a plus size model. Enter The Plus Academy, PLUS Model Magazine and Sonsi.
