Brande Victorian

Sonsi’s new guest contributor and August’s YourStyle feature, Brande Victorian is a medical writer, blogger, and staff writer for theFreshXpress. Torn between a blog focused on culture or plus sized fashion, Brande chose culture, deciding to accentuate full figured fashion in everyday life through her own wardrobe and style. She shared with Sonsi, “What I wear has a huge impact on my attitude and is totally reflective of my mood at the time.”

When Brande’s not writing, she is annoying/entertaining her neighbors with “The Brande Experience,” her slightly less dynamic, yet heavily vocal, version of Beyonce’s second concert tour (her favorite song is Michael Jackson’s Human Nature). The Brande Experience is also representative of her post-college, “real world” voyage to figure out just what it means to be a strong, confident, sexy, educated woman.

(7) The Outfit Your Feel Most Confident In: On the weekend I feel good in leggings, gladiator sandals/flats and an oversized shirt. For the office, a black dress with a patent leather belt and pumps makes me feel pretty powerful.
