When people ask me to describe my style, I always clam up…
It’s so hard to boil it down to a couple of sentences because my style is as varied as my personality. There are facets and nuances and of course, eccentricities. While I normally am drawn to bright and bold solid colors and classic neutrals, there is something in me that LOVES wild patterns. Luckily there is a line of clothing here on Sonsi that fills my pattern-loving void, and that brand is Blue Plate. Their dresses and shirts and skirts offer up a wide variety of colors styles and absolutely dizzying prints. They are bold, they are fun and they make me want to throw my solid colored clothes away!

Sometimes, there is nothing better than a great basic dress. It’s fully lined, perfect for layering or for wearing alone, and comes in 4 colors. I would wear this in any season, with heels or flats, with scarves and cardigans, with tights or bare legs…… the possibilities are endless!
Red Bandana Kimono Top by Blue Plate
I’m not a huge fan of wearing pants (I’m classy like that) but I’d definitely put on a pair of jeans for this top. The v-neck is a bit sexy and the cut is pure comfort- the best of both worlds! Plus it comes in blue, red, black and green. How’s that for choices?
Long Sleeve Master Multi Print Dress by Blue Plate
Normally I am deathly afraid of the color orange. I’m always leery of looking like a pumpkin. But this dress is so vibrant and the print will squelch all mentions of fall vegetables. Plus it has long sleeves which is always nice in the fall. I would wear it with tights and some cute boots!
Hot Red Print dress by Blue Plate
The name says it all – this dress is red, has a print, and it’s HOT!!! I would totally wear this on a date. It fills my date requirements – printed (in case I get dirty), sexy (a wee bit of cleavage) and unique (I have to make an impression!). Plus it’s red and a red dress is a totally necessity in a girl’s wardrobe.
